About us:

We are a site which represents artists hailing from the coastal Carolinas and are looking to share our rich heritage of art and community with those within the area and those who come to visit and enjoy our region. Our goal is to spread the vibrant culture of some of our nation’s oldest cities and ports to people who might be unfamiliar with the rich history of the region. By allowing you to use the resources you find here you can map out a day trip or plan a visit to see specific thing you are interested in.  The maps can be used to scope out the art resources in a specific area and find the places by seeing those art resources that meet your objective.  Just click on an individual point on the map and if the artist has a website you can click on it and check out the type of art they offer.

Because many of the artists offer their creations at local galleries you can see and find the artists works there but if you are interested in meeting a specific artist you can make arrangements to do so through this site.  Many artists do not have retail establishments but are more than willing to allow you to visit their studio if you wish to do so and if it is done at appointed times or by scheduling an appointment.  Often individual artists have special sales days at their studios or in galleries that offer their work.  We will help to advertise those occurrences on this site (check out the events portion of the site) to help you connect with the artists’ work you enjoy.  Our objective is to help you connect the art and the artists you enjoy.
